Wouldn't it be great to earn free gift cards just by searching the web, watching videos, and printing coupons? With Swagbucks you can earn points just by doing multiple things through their search engine. I have been using this search engine for about a week now and I am here to let you know whether this is worth using or a complete waste of time.
What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a search engine where you earn points for searching the web just like you would in Google. When you have saved enough points you can trade them in for different gift cards. Some of the more popular gift cards include Starbucks, Wal-Mart, and Amazon. If you earn 450 Swag points you can earn a $5 gift card to Amazon.
How to get Started?
Creating an account at Swagbucks is very easy. You can use this Bonus Sign up Link to earn a bonus of 150 points. You are also given points just for creating your profile in the beginning. I believe I earned over 30 Swagbucks just for finishing up the registration process. There are also multiple ways you can earn Swagbucks. You can be completing surveys, daily polls, entering sweepstakes, playing games, downloading apps, and watching TV.
My Thoughts on Swagbucks
I want to start off saying that Swagbucks does take up a lot of your time in order to build up the points. However if you have downtime and search the web, why not earn rewards for doing so? In my case, I have some spare time at work so I am able to watch videos and search the web on my lunch break. Using Swagbucks will not make you a millionaire but I think last time I checked I have 270 points in less than a week of normal use. Another 180 points will earn me an Amazon gift card, which I plan on using for fish food. I might even splurge and buy a dvd or book! : )
I plan on writing another post about Swagbucks in the future. I want to experience a few of the ways I can earn Swagbucks. I also want to see what the process is like when receiving a gift card. I am sure they send you some kind of gift card code via email that you can use with a future purchase. Do you currently use Swagbucks?
