I'm looking at adding to WMT, PEP, and KO too. Great DGI stocks. I think WMT is the best value at the moment.

DeleteI am looking to add some more of all those stocks you mentioned. I agree WMT is the best value, but I am also looking at HSY as well. Although HSY is not at a huge discount, it will be a great stock to hold for the next 30 years.

Lots of good buy there DM. Like you I am hoarding up tons of SBUX after the 2:1 split. It's a little pricey now but long term this is going to be a gold mine.

DeleteGreat minds think a like. I think holding SBUX for the next 30 years will make us very happy investors in the future. I hate paying the premium price but everytime I go on vacation and visit a local SBUX, it's no wonder why they are my favorite stock right now. Great food, coffee, and service. Better to add at $50/share then wait and have to pay $60.
So many mini-buys. That's cool. It all adds up. I'm getting the sense that WMT is the new hot stock as quite a few of the dividend bloggers have been adding to that name recently. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteI didn't care for the small dividend raise that WMT announced, but I feel like they are trying to change in order to keep up with the other major retailers. I don't even like shopping at WMT, but I feel like they will provide at least average returns to investors.

I have bought or plan on buying alot of the same companies. I just wish I could be brave enough to put more money into investments instead of my savings account. I am 80% savings, 10% Loyal 3 and 10% Betterment. I know I am losing alot of money from my .90% Savings interest.

DeleteI felt the same way when I got into investing. I made a few mistakes along the way but I am still in the learning process. The way I feel now about it is that if I ever need cash for something, I will just cash out a stock. I still keep 5K in cash as an emergency fund, but if I needed to buy a car for 6K, I can always just cash out MSFT and pay for the car. I am also comfortable if my portfolio was to lose up to 30% of it's value. Yeah it would suck, but I am still only in my twenties. I have plenty of time to turn things around. I also don't buy into speculation stocks or risky stocks. I did that with ARCP and SDRL and I learned my lesson. Granted I only lost about $390 but it's money I could have used elsewhere.
