The following stock orders have been executed for this week:

.61 Shares of VIAB @ $81.15
.56 Shares of DIS @ $89.88
.89 Shares of KRFT @ $58.90

Total Capital Invested-$150.00

I want to start off by saying that I am very excited to start a position with Kraft (KRFT). I just found out that Loyal3 has added KRFT to the line up of stocks that is already offered. I am now able to start adding small $50 incremental purchases in another great dividend producing stock. It's also no surprise to see that I bought more shares of Disney. Disney is one of my favorite companies and I will continue to add shares before the Star Wars movie make it's debut. Another company that doesn't get much love within the dividend investing community is Viacom. This is a very well diversified company and I understand the dividend yield is low but the long term growth for this company looks good. Now let's take a look at some key points on why I choose to invest in the above mentioned companies.

KRAFT (KFRT)

  • The dividend yield is very attractive at 3.8%
  • The current valuation of Kraft makes it attractive at a current P/E ratio of 12.81.
  • Net income increased by 65% in 2013 and has paid $2.05 per share in dividends in the same year.
  • Growth potential for KRFT still remain a solid long term investment. I have no doubt that KRFT will be able to grow faster than it's peers due to it's dominance in the food sector.
DISNEY (DIS)
  • More growth is anticipated with the Shanghai Park to open before the end of 2015.
  • I am cheerful about the latest movie successes thanks to the great deal to acquire Marvel.
  • DIS outperformed the S & P and it's peers in the last 12 months.
  • I strongly believe in holding this one for a few decades and quietly watching it help compound my wealth and dividend income.
VIACOM (VIAB)
  • Media giants are gaining tremendous cash flow and I am beginning to realize this after 21 century Fox tried to acquire TIME WARNER.
  • VIACOM has the lowest P/E RATIO (15.21) compared to it's peers.
  • A healthy balance sheet so investors can rely on the company to maintain great returns for years to come.
Do you currently own any of these companies? How do you feel about these purchases?

    1. Kraft is one of those hold onto forever companies and I can't wait to add more shares. It's not a surprise to find some type of Kraft product in every household. Plus the dividend yield is very enticing. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hey R2R,
I think Loyal3 is probably one of the most innovative websites and ideas I have come across. The management is smart and I think offering Kraft is quite genius. If they keep offering great companies like this, there is no telling how far Loyal3 will go.

    1. Henry,
I own a very small position with TWX but I really neex to add to it. If Rupert Merdoch acquires Time Warner it's going to be a huge deal. Even though TWX has declined I am sure Rupert will stop at nothing to own another media giant. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Great! I am also thrilled with the addition of Kraft to the Loyal3 platform, and will likely utilize the dividends I receive this month ($25 or so) and make an entry into that holding. It is nice that my portfolio is now large enough to allow me to invest directly without adding new capital. The fourth quarter period is going to be even better for this as I continue to add to the account.

    1. I can't wait until I can receive more than $50 in dividend each month so that I can buy more into my holdings. I am thinking September will be my biggest month in dividend income and I am excited to see how that compares to my expenses. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Loyal3 sent me an e-mail about how they were offering Kraft and that same day I added a position. I am going to keep adding to it unless they become overvalued. The yield is a nice compliment to my portfolio. Thanks!

  6. Loyal3 is wonderful, especially for people who don't have thousands of dollars lying around to invest. I also appreciate that I can buy stocks with my credit card, even if I am limited by the preset amounts.

I'm with you on KRFT and DIS - those are both wonderful companies.

    1. Seraph,
I currently get 1.5% cashback on all purchases which puts me at a gain with every purchase. More money in my wallet! Disney is my favorite company right now even though they are a little expensive. The future growth looks good though. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Hey PIP,
The offering of Kraft on Loyal3 makes me more confident that they will continue to add great companies in the future. I can now DCA like you mentioned in another great company that I can hold and receive dividends for over 30 years. Best regards!
