1. After a busy 60-hour work week, I have a few updates to share with you. First I decided it was time to update my Loyal portfolio. Every week I plan on making a few purchases because it is free to trade. I am able to diversify much better when I can put $50 into a few companies each week. I would rather spend $1000 on four quality companies vs. putting all of the money into one company at a time. However there are many companies I would like to invest in that are not offered on Loyal3 such as AFL, KMI, PG, O, and T. These are great companies that I plan on investing into when the time is right. For now I am investing in other high quality dividend paying stocks. Below is a list of recent purchases that I have made.

3. It's been a few months since I have updated my watch list. I have decided that it was time to update this list because some of the stocks on there were not so attractive to me anymore. Some of the stocks on my watch list were also already on my portfolio so I decided to replace those with other stocks on my radar. Some of my recent purchases include KO, MCD, PEP, AAPL, UL, and TWX. I decided to update my watch list with BUD, T, DIS, BRK.B, OMI, BAX, DE, and SBUX.

What's on your watch list radar these days?
Thanks for including us on the list! I personally follow MMM (who lives a few blocks over) and All About Interest. If you don't follow Dividend Mantra - you should!
ReplyDeleteI like KO and MCD.
I'd consider watching JNJ and AFL (I love both).
UPDATE: I have added JNJ and AFL to my watch list. I currently don't have any financial or health care stocks but I would definitely consider buying these two.
DeleteHey WE,
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading your new posts and I wish (WE#1) the best of luck with his future home purchase. Keep us updated!
Some good stocks in your Loyal3 portfolio. I've been adding a little MCD recently. For me, it seems to stand out a little more than some of the other Loyal3 options right now.

Dear Dividend
Hey DD,
DeleteThanks for stopping by. I agree that MCD is probably the most attractive dividend growth stock on Loyal3 at the moment. I would also consider a 2nd and 3rd most attractive going to WMT and AAPL. Some investors tend to shy away from technology stocks including AAPL because of the risk. Technology stocks are very competitive, but AAPL continues to deliver quality products that consumers crave. I believe the IPhone 6 is coming out in September so I am going to continue investing until the stock price shoots to approximately $100/share.
Great list of blogsters. They are some of my favorite
ReplyDeleteThanks A-G. I look forward to adding to this list as time goes on.

Thanks DL,
ReplyDeleteThe support from other bloggers has been great and it makes the journey to financial independece much easier.
Lots of great companies that you bought through Loyal3. I think that's a great idea to diversify into more companies with smaller purchases. I just wish they could get a few other great dividend growth companies to their list.
ReplyDeleteI prefer blogs to the standard information that just gets regurgitated through the major financial news sources. Often it's lacking the personal touch/story that makes it easier to relate to.
